Drop 3–5 bracketed exposures
Underexposed + Normal + Overexposed → one balanced HDR JPEG
About this tool
Window pull is the classic real estate photography challenge: expose for the room and the glass blows; expose for the view and the interior dies. HDR Merge accepts 3–7 aligned brackets and returns one balanced JPEG ready for delivery or further polish.
Keep the camera locked between frames — tripod or solid stance — and feed the set in exposure order. Processing typically finishes in a few seconds. Output is a delivery-oriented JPEG, not a 32-bit master; archive RAW brackets separately if you need to re-merge later.
Before merge, use the HDR Bracket Organizer to validate complete sets. After merge, straighten keystone with Perspective Correction or run the FOCAL RAYS editor for batch perspective, color, and twilight on the whole listing.
Best for interior rooms with exterior views, twilight transitions, and any scene where a single exposure cannot hold both ends of the dynamic range without looking fake or flat.
FAQ
- How many exposures should I use?
- Three is standard; five or seven helps extreme contrast. Keep the camera locked between frames.
- Does the tool align misaligned frames?
- Best results come from locked-off brackets. Large hand-held drift may produce ghosts — re-shoot or cull that set.
- Is the output for MLS?
- You get a balanced JPEG. Run MLS Ready afterward to preflight size, sRGB, GPS, and naming for your board.
- Can I batch a whole house?
- This free merge is set-oriented. For whole-listing AI polish, use the FOCAL RAYS editor after organizing brackets.
